My current life is divided between a beach town near San Diego and a small village in southern France. I go walking on the beach every day or stroll amongst the vineyards surrounding the village of Olonzac in France.

I love them both but I have found my "heart home" in France where I can breathe freely with no pressure to be anything but just another villager.

I wrote The Man in the Middle to understand who my parents were and to make peace with the secrets that shadowed my childhood and the evangelical judgement that haunted me for years. I discovered the individuals my parents were and I honor them in this book.
